This website allows to view streamed TV shows that are currently only available in the US. I was pretty damn impressed when i was first made aware of it for one reason especially. Most shows are on display on this site after less than a week after their first showing on mainstream American TV. There are also movies streamed as well however the likely hood of being able to watch the movies is slim as they are often taken down as soon as they are uploaded. The buffering speed is unfortunately quite slow so you will have to have a reasonably good connection speed. However the best thing about this site for a family guy nut like me is that you can view a new series of family guy not even aired in the UK GET IN :)
On Saturday the 30th of April I attended the sweeps festival in Rochester. The festival is held around the bank holiday and is celebrated every year to commemorate the only day that those poor chimney sweeps of ye oldie Victorian times had off off work (perhaps they should have got a good union rep). There is a lot of Morris and street dancers and performances a nice beer tent with live music and some nice burger stalls. The high street becomes very crowded during the festival so probably not the best day to go shopping. There was also a fare in the castle grounds which we visited with rides games and even a temporary tattoo stall. The castle admission cost was however a bit over pricedfor what is inside. Its mostly a ruin with a few passages and a hell of a lot of wonky uneven spiral staircases. It was however a great day out and i would recommend it to anyone. I had a great time and am looking forward to the Christmas festival later in the year.
